Book 1 - Roxanne and Ruby the Rug
takes place in Istanbul, Turkey.  The
Hagia Sophia began as an Eastern
Orthodox Church until 1453 when it
became a mosque.  Today, it is a
museum in Istanbul.  For photos and

Book 2 - Roxanne and George the Green Genie
begins in Istanbul at the Hagia Sophia.  It
discusses the role of a curator in a museum
and artifacts that could exist in the areas of
Turkey and Greece.  For more information

Book 3 - Roxanne and Lola the Lemon Pixie
takes place in two exotic places - the Rock
of Gibraltar and Morocco. Bernie and
Delphina are two unusual characters.
Bernie is a Barbary ape and is native to the
Rock of Gibraltar.  Delphina is a dolphin
which is an animal found all throughout the
Mediterranean. Links will follow that explain
more about these animals. There will also
be an additional link for those readers that
have never heard of sand surfing. Visit the
